By downloading, installing, or using DailyMantras, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Use of the Service
DailyMantras is a personal mindfulness and journaling application. You may use the Service for your personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
- Reproduce or distribute the app's content without permission
- Use automated systems to access the Service in ways that exceed normal usage
- Upload or transmit any malicious code or content
3. User Accounts
You may create an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@dailymantra.io if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
You may also use the app in Guest Mode without creating an account, with data stored only on your device.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you create in DailyMantras (your mantras, journal entries, and notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store and sync your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
We do not access, read, or use your personal journal entries for any purpose other than syncing them to your account.
5. Intellectual Property
The DailyMantras app, including its design, features, code, and content (quotes, themes, logos), is owned by DailyMantras and protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
Quotes displayed in the app are attributed to their respective authors. We have curated these from public domain sources and properly attribute all content.
6. Notifications
The Service may send push notifications to your device. You can control notification preferences at any time through the app's Settings or your iOS device settings. We will only send notifications related to the app's core functionality (daily quotes, mantra reminders).
7. Disclaimers
DailyMantras is provided for personal mindfulness and motivational purposes only. The Service is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, or therapy. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a qualified healthcare professional or emergency services.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DailyMantras shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting the app. To delete your account and associated data, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or contact us at support@dailymantra.io.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
